The Boston Herald recently reported that President Obama’s stimulus plan sent $1 million dollars to prison inmates across the country.
So while Obama’s $787 billion stimulus bill does little to boost the economy or create jobs, you can take comfort in knowing that convicted rapists, murderers and the like are being well taken care of.
The same cash also may have been sent to fugitive felons, people kicked out of the country and even individuals now deceased. A federal watchdog is now probing how the cons were issued the checks.
The recklessness and wastefulness of government can never be overstated. With regular “mistakes” like this one (and social security and medicaid and medicare, etc), you can be certain that government health care will be an absolute disaster.

Eight months into the presidency and we’ve yet to see an intelligently implemented stimulus initiative from President Obama.
Cash for Clunkers was just one of the idiotic ideas we’ve seen as of late.
As a result of this grossly irresponsible program, japanese automakers are now selling the most cars out of all participating automakers.

In this video clip, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, gets caught in her own snare. You must see her hypocrisy in action. It’s so… “un-American”.

You would think that record spending would be difficult in these hard times, but President Obama proved otherwise. In an amazing shopping spree with the public’s credit card, President Obama managed to further mortgage the future for millions of poor Omerican children.
And as for all the great things he’s done for the people who voted for him, there are none.
“Nothing for the people. Everything for the rich.”

Ron Paul is the only person in Washington speaking intelligently to the topic of health care. Maybe the fact that he’s a physician, as well as a politician, has something to do with it.
In this clip, Ron Paul very candidly breaks down the reasons government health care has failed. Along the way, he gives alternative approaches to solving the crisis. Do yourself a favor and watch this. Twice.

In this clip, President Obama says that he envisions a single-payer health care program that will hopefully phase out employer-provided health care within 10 years, forcing the entire public to rely solely on the government.
That’s not Liberty… That’s Fascism.

In this clip, the honorable Fareed Zakaria brings to light the Stalinist show trials taking place in Tehran. You know, the ones that are reserved for the people who haven’t already been killed. You know, the ones you haven’t heard of in the news.

At the peak of public outrage over massive bank bailouts and exploding executive bonuses, the subject was suddenly changed. Someone threw a red herring into the mix.
At the precise moment the public began demanding results from the stimulus package and automaker bailouts, a new topic blazed through the public consciousness…
Government Health Care.
By giving the people something new to argue about, the president masterfully shifted attention away from his handling of the economy, to the important, but less-pressing issue of government health care.
Rather than see the people of this country united against the irresponsible spending of the public’s money, President Obama chose to polarize the people with a “hot topic”. An issue that boils the blood of every red-blooded Marxist and Capitalist alike.
This is a foolish, divisive, critical waste of time and has contributed significantly to the president’s rapid decline in popularity.
O N L Y F O O L S R U S H I N
To start with, why is there such a big hurry to push through health care reform? This country will not collapse if we take another year or two (or four) to develop a thoughtful and viable health care solution. But it is almost guaranteed, that without a massive and immediate turnaround in our economic policy, many more government programs will end up on the endangered list, not just healthcare.
Secondly, President Obama and his team have got the cause of our health care crisis completely wrong as well. They blame greedy doctors and insurance companies for our health care problems, but this is very misleading, if not completely false. Sure, costs continue to rise and measures must be taken to slow them down, but there is something far more insidious at play here, something nobody wants to talk about.
The main reason government health care is not working is because there aren’t enough taxpayers to pay for the growing millions of welfare recipients we have.
A N A T I O N O F B E G G A R S
When you consider that there are approximately *92 million recipients of government healthcare and only 138 million taxpayers, the truth speaks louder than anything else and the situation is only getting worse. As baby boomers continue to flood the health care market and more than half of all black children are born into poverty, our country will face unrivaled challenges in terms of welfare, bankruptcy and race relations, to name a few.
Just look at the state of this country. There aren’t enough jobs. There aren’t enough factories. There aren’t enough taxpayers. There aren’t enough savings. And the poor in this country are getting poorer, yet the president does nothing for the people.
And to top it off, the very banks that benefited from the taxpayer’s generosity, are reaping record profits, while mercilessly drowning the poor of this country with usurious interest rates, and restricted home refinancing. The vulgarity of this situation is epic.
The real issue my fellow Omericans, is the economy. Not health care.
The situation is simple to understand.
Without an immediate increase in manufacturing, deficits will strangle this country.
Without massive budget and program cuts, we will continue to print more and more money, plunging us deeper and deeper into debt. And without sizable tax-cuts across the board, more and more people will lose their savings, homes, health and most of all, their hope.
So what’s the president’s plan?
Close factories, print more money and raise people’s taxes. That’s it. That’s the extent of his creativity. But don’t worry, we have health care to argue about now.
Now we can shout at one another about who is morally superior, pitting charity against self-reliance, rather than focusing on the objective truth of economic principle.
And between all the shouting and jeering, when we take a moment to catch our collective breath, we can take comfort in the fact that President Obama continues to implement severely flawed economic programs that devastate the public trust and drive us closer toward the brink of economic collapse.
Wake up and smell the fish America! Health care is not the issue.
It’s the economy.

* According to Wikipedia:
“In 2007, Medicare provided health care coverage for 43 million Americans, making it the largest single health care payer in the nation.Enrollment is expected to reach 77 million by 2031, when the baby boom generation is fully enrolled.“
“In 2008, Medicaid provided health coverage and services to approximately 49 million low-income children, pregnant women, elderly persons, and disabled individuals.”
Can you think of anything more stupid, than taking fully-paid-for cars that work and paying people to destroy them, so they can borrow more money to buy cars they can’t afford?
- Peter Schiff, candidate for Senate in CT.
While on The Glenn Beck Show (yuck), candidate for Senate, Peter Schiff used simple logic to show exactly how our president’s economic policy is driving this country toward economic collapse.
If you need more convincing as to why this program is utterly stupid, read this article.

After over a year of terrible economic news, we finally have something to feel good about.
Peter Schiff, one of the country’s smartest economic advisors/commentators, is planning a run for the Senate in Connecticut against Christopher Dodd, who is arguably the worst economic advisor in the world.
Back in 2005, when millions of people were racking up credit card and sub-prime mortgage debt, Peter Schiff was telling anyone who would listen, about the coming economic crisis that we are now living in. During that time, Peter Schiff gave sound advice on how to brace for the crash and actually come out ahead. He was one of the only people in Bushmerica that got it right.
In case you’re unfamiliar with Christopher Dodd, he’s the incumbent senator who got the economic crisis completely wrong and even worse, he has the distinction of receiving more money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac than any other senator for 18 years in a row. FYI, both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have cost taxpayers over $80,000,000,000.00 since last year.
Omericans, we all need Peter Schiff in Washington, regardless of which state we live in. To learn more about him, watch the video above. It is brief, informative and entertaining.
It’s time that we all support politicians who actually understand economics, because the road ahead will be perilous if we continue on as we have. And if you’re feeling really patriotic, please feel free to donate to Mr. Schiff’s campaign.
Go Omerica! Go Peter Schiff!
